About Cass

Born in Islington North London, Cass spent 29 years at Camera Press Ltd, a major press agency in the heart of London's West End. As Darkroom Manager he printed for some of the world's most famous photographers, including Karsh, Lord Snowdon, Lord Lichfield, Parkinson, Rankin, Terry O'Neill, Terence Donovan, David Bailey and the Iconic Photographer Gavin Watson to name but a few. Cass has over 2,000 images on the agency web site and many have been published in books, magazines and newspapers around the world.

Now living in Marske-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, Cass's landscape images have been exhibited at venues that include The Central Library Hartlepool, Kirkleatham Hall Museum, The Danby Moors Centre, Middlesbrough's TS1 Gallery, The Gallery Guisborough, Gibside National Trust Centre, The Palace Hub Gallery, Redcar and are on permanent display at The Clock Gallery, Redcar and The Saltburn Station Gallery. Cass's images have a unique and dramatic style that captures the imagination of the viewer and the mood of the moment.

Apart from the landscape photography, Cass is involved with Crime Scene photography and also has a book out entitled "Cass a Journey from the Smoke to the Smog" that includes over 100 of Cass's Iconic images and makes for a fascinating read about his Images and time at London's premier Press Agency Camera Press Ltd.
