Autumn Moors - North York Moors
On a trip to the north Yorkshire moors on a crisp autumn morning I spotted a small stream that made a break in the landscape, something that added to the dramatic scene before me. I had just set my camera on the tripod and was ready to press the shutter when I heard a Land Rover bearing down on me (I was thinking to myself that maybe I had strayed on to someone’s land and was expecting a mouthful). As the car pulled up the window was lowered and a farmer’s voice bellowed out ‘Have you seen my sheepdog I’ve lost him?’ Ah, just another day on the autumn moors.
