Silence is Golden
Silence is Golden - Danby Moor, North Yorkshire
As I arrived on the moor the rabbits scattered, and the sheep just regarded me as a slight annoyance. The location was a place that I had visited before in December 2016, but always had it in mind to come back as I thought that I had not done the scene enough justice the time before. The landscape had hardly changed, just the feel and atmosphere that I had wanted had, it was exactly right, a pure soft evening light that turned the canvas before me, indeed, Silence is Golden.
