The Pocket Rocket - Grosmont Station, North Yorkshire

The BR Standard 4MT No:76079 was designed by Robert Arthur Riddles and entered service in February 1957, after almost eleven years it was retired from service. After its preservation, 76079 has proved a popular and versatile locomotive, passed for main-line running and acquiring the nickname "Pocket Rocket" for being small but powerful. Here it is pictured at Grosmont Station in North Yorkshire.
