Blood and Ironstone - Skinningrove.
The village of Skinningrove on the north east coast of England is known for its links with Ironstone mining which began on 7th August 1848, reaching its peak in 1881 producing 654,000 tons and closed in 1958.
The rugged demeaner of this part of the coastline is very popular with hikers and tourist alike and is part of the Cleveland Way.
