The Lyndie London

The 'Lyndie London' - 'Atonement' Film Set, Redcar
In August 2006 the glitz of the film world arrived in Redcar, the town fired into life with the hiring of local people to play extras in the blockbuster film ‘Atonement’ which starred among others Vanessa Redgrave, Saoirse Ronan, Romola Garai, Keira Knightley and the main star of the film James McAvoy and here he was in Redcar !. The film directed by Joe Wright adapted from the book by Ian McEwan, centred around the second world war and Redcar beach was used as a back drop for Dunkirk (In my opinion the best scene in the film !). A red carpet premier was held in Redcar’s Regent Cinema the night before its UK release.

By JOHN: Hello my name is John in Woolwich, originally Bow East London. Firstly your Photos are Brilliant, but I guess you know that with your talent, and eye for the Photograph. I am 74 now and a Student trying to learn Photography, and I do OK, not in your league though. But I want to get into Full Spectrum Photography,as I just love the Photos and what you can achieve, hence me finding your site.
Well as I said Brilliant Photos, and I hope to achieve a third of what yo do I shall be more than happy. So I want to wish you a Happy and Safe New Year, and hopefully I can now learn from you.
Sadly for me though most people do not put on there Photos what they used and did to achieve, but I shall try it out.
If in any way you have time, could you please let me know what Filters you used, and how you converted them to achieve your Photos.
Regards and Thanks John
