My new home Marske-by-the-Sea, the beach a ten minute leisurely stroll, how mad is that for an Islington lad? Sometimes I have to stop myself taking the scene for granted as it would be easy when you live in one location for a time. It didn’t take much persuading when I was approached by Paul (a regular at Marske Cricket Club at the time) about taking a picture of the beach scene for an anniversary present for his wife (the image was turned into a painting effect as he had seen a similar painting and wanted the same scene). I can’t help it for a London boy to spend as much time ... ‘On the Beach’.
