At the end of the long and winding cobbled streets of Staithes, North Yorkshire, the 'Cod and Lobster' Inn appears, sitting on the edge of the harbour and facing the sea. It is open to the elements and has been battered and rebuilt many a time. A sea wall has now been installed and this time as a storm rolls in the patrons of the Inn can feel a little more at ease.
